Good Morning,
A large mug of Door County Mistletoe Mocha is sitting next to me and it is time to write.
More than ever, this last summer we had more and more peddlers come to the door trying to buy or sell our home. Then there were those who wanted to fertilize our grass and those who wanted to paint our home, inside and out. We picked up our share of political poll takers. Once the weather cooled off the phone began to ring with more political calls, weight loss gimmicks, time share sales and spam calls.
But going back to the in person calls, we are very careful as to who we let into our home. So here we go. Two voices are fighting for your attention. One speaks positive, encouraging thoughts, love and peace. While the other voice casts doubt, fear, bitterness and anxiety. We need to be careful to take the negative , evil thoughts, captive before we dwell on them in our minds. Negative thoughts never send you love or strength. So to only have one voice in your head, rely on God to help you. Be careful who you let into your head.
2 Corinthians 10:5 we demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.
It is a good idea also to not to transfer our thoughts to our spoken word.
Proverbs 4:23 Be careful what you think or say, for your thoughts run your life.
Reduce the noise in head. et your minds on the things from above.
Have a blessed day.
Marty
In keeping with my promise to post a photo every day of some of the decorations my wife has displayed in our "Christmas House" I have chosen another one for you to see. Today you get two.
