My day began real early today and I am just going to need some extra Door County Cinnamon Hazelnut Coffee to give this day a kick start.
I was surveying the vegetables growing in our garden yesterday and I can see the Lord's hand on that garden. I really enjoy growing things that we can use and share later. It is a good feeling.
Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.
It was said above to trust the Lord with all our heart. To trust someone you can't even see seems to be next to impossible. The key to this is faith. When we place our faith in God we are headed to incredible things. I call this the garden of trust. The more we trust in God the more our faith grows. We learn to trust in things things that in the past would have been untrustable. When we rely on God by faith to influence our decisions and we then follow Him, we are never on the wrong path.
Our garden of trust grows every time we place our faith in God instead of leaning on our own abilities.
Let the garden of your faith be fertile. Trust in God to lead.
