My day just started and the pace will be fast and furious. Prayer's said and a cup of Door County Raspberry Almond Coffee was just poured and it is time to write.
James 1:5 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given to him.
Back in the late 50's and into the early 60's there was a television show named "Father Knows Best" It was about the Anderson family, two parents and three children. Mr. Anderson's character was that of a softened, thoughtful father who offered sage advice whenever one or more of his children had a problem.
Mr. Anderson seemed to always have the right answer to the family dilemma. He was always there for his wife and kids.
Friends our Heavenly Father also knows what is best for us. Very often He shows us the way through prayer and Scripture. But all too often we go to God inquiring as to what to do with a problem after we have been everywhere else and consulted anyone and everyone. God becomes our last resort. I would say this, when God becomes that last resort, He really is no resort at all. We should go to Him for directions first. Especially, when we need to move forward in faith.
