Monday arrived like a bowling ball rolling the stairs. You just can;t stop it until Tuesday. I just poured myself a huge mug of Door County Pecan Cinnamon Ice Cream Coffee and now after prayer time it ss time to write.
Colossians 3:23 Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men.
Monday is a lot like Friday. It is just another day. Everyone knows that there are 7 days in a week and although the activities can vary day by day, they all have one thing in common. God made the day and He is in it with you. We tend to minimize God when we act the way we do at work. Do we give our employer everything they pay for? Are we always complaining? Can we be counted on to give our work better than our best? How about those cell phones? Are we on those things all day long? Are we grateful for our jobs? Do we spend too much time taking our breaks? We forget that God is with us at work and we are the impression we leave with our coworkers and managers. What impression of God do we leave with those around us. Do we work like we are a child of His? We do represent Him if we call ourselves Christians.
So today, let's follow God's advice for working. Work to represent Him. Do a good job and give your employer what they pay for and more.
