If I were home the old mug would be filled with Door County Blueberry Cobbler Coffee. But I am not, and whatever brew we are having is just fine as I head out to the duck marshes again today.
When digging a well the best water is found deeper. The first water one finds is usually ground water that seeps into the ground and will fill your well first. But the deeper you go will lead you to better water. But it takes extra labor to dig deeper if you want purity in your water.
If we truly desire to live a good and pure life, we have to dig deeper to avoid the pitfalls of temptation. It takes labor and great effort to live that life that we would all like.
So here's the choice, if you want it are you ready to work to win?
Matthew 26:41 Watch and pray that you may not enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.”
