Good Morning,
I just sat down to a hot cup of Door County Irish Cream Coffee and it is time to write.

Last night the television and telephones let us all know that strong and potentially dangerous storms were headed toward us. My wife Rene and I put into action our will rehearsed storm plan. Within a couple of minutes our basement storm shelter was ready to sit out the storm. With the technology of today we could track the path of the storms and knew when and where that action was. We also knew who we should be praying for as the storms covered most of our state.
Our part of the storm action ended up being not too bad at all. In fact we received some more much needed rain.
But here is my point. In any situation we pray first is there is time. There is security in having a plan and it made us feel better and safer enacting our plan even though it wasn't needed. We also have a plan for winter emergencies, fire, loss of heat, and power. It may sound silly to some, but for us those plans and knowing them well makes a difference in how we feel as a family, neighbor and relative.
Do your family a favor, have a plan and a go bag of things in case you need to evacuate and get along for a few days. It is Godly wisdom to be prepared, and always pray over your plans.
Marty
