Good Morning,
Door County Country Morning Blend Coffee is steaming next to me in a large cup. It is the perfect wake up blend for me.
I want to keep it simple today and so it shall be. I watch people struggle at times wondering why small calamities follow them and often lead to bigger problems. I venture to say that it could be the sins in their lives, the ones they like to keep. The sin that they just never get rid of, for instance anger and fits of rage. Some people can't be happy unless they are unhappy. The littlest things set them off and they not only are upset and distressed, those around them suffer also. Their love for their sin wreaks havoc on those around them. The action then leads to reactions and continues to perpetuate itself. It is an ugly trophy that we hang on our reputation, yet we keep it. When people witness it they see the ugly of our hearts.
Psalm 7:14 Whoever is pregnant with evil conceives trouble and gives birth to disillusionment.
So for today, set yourself up to win and acknowledge the sins you like to keep. Then vow to make them vanish from your life. Ask someone to hold you accountable and let them hold you accountable. Be honest with yourself.
Marty
