The Right Kind Of Friends 7/14/2015

Good Morning,

The coffee pot just finished brewing some delicious Door County Coconut Crush java. My day has begun with a prayer for my friends. My mind went back to last Sunday when a few of us got together and practiced shooting at flying clay targets so we can compete twice this next weekend.

I tend to hunt, pray and hang out with some good guys. They are all solid men who are honest and trustworthy. Once in awhile we mix in a lady or two as we are not unwilling to share our outings with the opposite gender. I have been blessed to have good men around me and that makes it easier for all of us to behave. It is a great accountability group.

Psalm 1:1-4
Oh, the joys of those who do not follow evil men’s advice, who do not hang around with sinners, scoffing at the things of God. But they delight in doing everything God wants them to, and day and night are always meditating on his laws and thinking about ways to follow him more closely.
They are like trees along a riverbank bearing luscious fruit each season without fail. Their leaves shall never wither, and all they do shall prosper.
But for sinners, what a different story! They blow away like chaff before the wind. They are not safe on Judgment Day; they shall not stand among the godly.

I look forward to spending time with these guys and eating wild game together. There is nothing like hanging with the right kind of friends. These are just a few of the many good men who have had a good influence on my life.

Choose your friends wisely.

Have a great day,

Marty
