A Shower Helps 9/26/2023

 Good Morning,

I just poured a hot cup of Door County Peanut Butter Crunch Coffee and it is time to write.

I took a shower a few minutes ago to help start the new day and this day will run long. We are blessed to have clean, hot water to shower in. Even though we have a great supply of water, I do not waste it. I allow 5minutes at the most for my shower.

Isaiah 1:16 Wash yourselves, make yourselves clean, remove the evil of your deeds from before my eyes. Cease to do evil.

Here is a little secret. You can tell that a person is depressed when they let their appearance slack off. A person who is usually dressed nice and neat, who now looks like they just got out of bed and smells, is a person battling with depression.

We have to look beyond the immediate appearance and ask why would someone falter so far. Something out of their control, or within their control happened and they begin to live like there is no hope. They let their inner soul be shown on the outside and it cries of depression and lack of hope. Whatever they have done or whatever has been done to them has them weighted down.

We then, have to make a choice as to whether or not we want to help. It is a difficult decision to make and one that is best to have God tell you what to do. Bringing someone out of depression is best left to heaven, and we should be part of the cast. God knows what is bothering them and He knows why. That is when we pray for God to expose the truth and show you if and how you can help.

Food for thought.

Marty
