If I could have one wish today it would be for time to stop for 15 minutes and everyone world wide, would stop what they were doing and enjoy some time with a friend. I would offer my friend a cup of my Door County White Christmas Coffee.
Psalm 118:24New King James Version (NKJV)
24 This is the day the Lord has made;
We will rejoice and be glad in it.
We will rejoice and be glad in it.
The expression "Waking up on the right side of the bed" is often used when someone is diagnosed with being a little touchy, angry or crabby. An indication of this would be short, pointed responses, laced with a touch of anger. "They did not get up on the right side of the bed" or changed just a little, "they got up on the wrong side of the bed."
Each day we wake up from our sleep is a gift from God. The attitude we choose to exhibit throughout the morning and the rest of the day is our choice. We can choose to be a blessing to others. We can choose to be content. We can choose to find peace and happiness despite circumstances. Or, we can choose to be crabby and negative. I think I know the person we would all choose to meet. The attitude can be chosen within the first sixty seconds after waking up. We can be thankful to God for another day. Pray and ask to be a blessing to someone. It all starts in sixty seconds of prayer.
What do you do in that first sixty? Pushups or prayer?
God Bless,
Marty
