Never Too Old To Learn 9/23/2015

Good Morning,

I was not able to have a cup of Door County Maple Coffee this morning due to travel today. But Maple would be it, if I could brew my own today.

Almost every day I learn something  from someone younger than I am. These younger people are very tech savvy now. And I am not!

In our Christian walk we come to a point when we wonder if we can learn any more about Scripture and God, or if we need to. That is exactly where we go wrong. God is so awesome and so much more than we can imagine, that we place limits on Him through our finite minds and abilities.

In the younger years, when lots of life’s biggest decisions are being made, it is easy to seek God’s guidance and assistance. But it is important to remember that He cares about every day of your life. He will carry you when you are too young to know you need it, and when you are too old to walk on your own. His sustaining love is forever.

Job 12:12 Is not wisdom found among the aged? Does not long life bring understanding?

Some life lessons come in an instant, and others must be learned from years of experience and growth. The older we grow, the more we learn about kindness, patience, heartbreak, love , and mercy. All of these experiences lead us to a deeper understanding of life’s seasons, and a greater wisdom of God’s presence through them all. But it never stops until God calls us home. God is always teaching us. He never sees us as too old to learn.

Smile. To God, you are always a kid.

Marty
