Trivia With The Company 2/16/2022

 Good Morning,

I just say down to a quick cup of Door County Pumpkin Spice Coffee and it is time to write.

Ephesians 4:25 Therefore, putting away falsehood, let each one of you speak the truth with his neighbor, for we are members of one another.

Last night I was invited to a get together sponsored by the company I work part time for. Most of our Midwest crew was there. It was held at a restaurant / brewery in Milwaukee. I hesitated to go and almost didn't . My wife chided me a little and said that she thought I turned down enough invitations and it might be a good idea to attend.

After we ate, the restaurant asked for teams to play trivia. You basically answer questions about subjects you might know about as a team. We did pretty well as a team and took third place. I was surprised I knew anything at all.

My point for today is this. Most everyone there was many years a junior to me. My closest work partner and I are about the same age. I enjoyed being around those young folks and they sure knew a lot of trivia. They were very inclusive to us old folks and you could see why we make a great work team. Everyone is valued for their part of what we do,.

Can we, for today, make sure those we work with know how much they are valued? Knowing that what I do is a value, makes me want to go at it for another year. I place value on being needed.

Going for a coffee? Take someone with you or bring one back for them and say thanks for all you do!

Marty
