I find myself riding in the passenger seat of our car while Rene drives. Earlier I enjoyed a cup of Door County Cinnamon Hazelnut Coffee. I made sure to take a travel pack as we visited Georgia this weeke
Proverbs 3:5-6
5. Lean not on your own understanding. 6. But let the Lord establish your paths. We traveled to watch our grandson graduate from high school. We left Wisconsin on Friday and are returning home today. I took a rest from writing yesterday. Dominick attended a military academy and is now headed to the armed forces and college.
But after listening to the prayer before the ceremony began I have something to write about..
Many people will attend a graduation or two this year. A graduation ceremony is called a "Commencement Ceremony". Commence means to begin or start.
Graduates are beginning the next step in their lives. We can give them cards, gifts, and advice. These are appropriate and nice to do. But what we also need to commit doing is to pray for them as they head to new experiences and choices. Friends. Don't forget to pray for these new graduates . It is our duty of love.
God bless.
Marty
