Sunday Morning Coffee 11/9/2014

Good Morning,

Nothing better than some biscuits and gravy with this hot cup of Door County Cherry Crème coffee, my Bible and some prayer to start a Sunday before I hit the field with the dog and my nephew.

I am an early riser and hope to keep it that way for as long as I am alive. I love to watch my portion of the world wake up. I can hear the geese honking in the distance today and a train rumbling through the road intersection East of us.

Each morning brings a new day. A new day of experiences will come my way. Yesterday is gone and just a memory. There might be a challenge or two today or blessings unforeseen. But today is new. My den is quiet except for Gibbs nudging me to "get going". He has hunting on his brain.

I am blessed to see another morning. How about you today? Can you let go of yesterday and embrace today? Good or bad, to be alive and see the sun come up is a blessing.

Psalm 148 New King James Version (NKJV)

Praise to the Lord from Creation

148 Praise the Lord!
Praise the Lord from the heavens;
Praise Him in the heights!
Praise Him, all His angels;
Praise Him, all His hosts!
Praise Him, sun and moon;
Praise Him, all you stars of light!
Praise Him, you heavens of heavens,
And you waters above the heavens!
Let them praise the name of the Lord,
For He commanded and they were created.
He also established them forever and ever;
He made a decree which shall not pass away.
Praise the Lord from the earth,
You great sea creatures and all the depths;
Fire and hail, snow and clouds;
Stormy wind, fulfilling His word;
Mountains and all hills;
Fruitful trees and all cedars;
10 Beasts and all cattle;
Creeping things and flying fowl;
11 Kings of the earth and all peoples;
Princes and all judges of the earth;
12 Both young men and maidens;
Old men and children.
13 Let them praise the name of the Lord,
For His name alone is exalted;
His glory is above the earth and heaven.
14 And He has exalted the horn of His people,
The praise of all His saints—
Of the children of Israel,
A people near to Him.
Praise the Lord!

God bless,

Marty
