Good Morning.
I am sitting at my desk and next to me is a very hot cup of Door County Candy Cane Coffee and our two dogs are on the floor sitting on my feet.
It is a cold rainy day in my part of the world and according to our weather experts our area is in a drought. The next few days should help to alleviate that issue.
I am a dreamer for sure and most all of my thoughts are without significance. For instance, this morning I remarked to myself that my coffee always tastes better when the weather is cold, rainy or snowing. That's impossible because the coffee tastes the same no matter what. It is just a figment of my imagination.
I can't control the weather, but I can appreciate and be thankful that the rain has come before the plants are opening their eyes from a long winter's nap.
Psalm 147:8 He covers the heaven's with clouds; He prepares rain for the earth; He makes grass grow on the hills.
So I will stay inside today and enjoy the warmth of our home and rest assured that the rain we are receiving was prepared in heaven for a dry land.
So I will drink another cup of coffee and petition God with thanks and a few prayer requests.
Maybe the next cup will taste even better? There goes that imagination again!
Have a blessed day.
Marty
