Good Morning,
My coffee will be whatever our church serves today at our Men's Breakfast. So none for me right now and it is time to write.
Have you ever thought that your home is actually run like a business and at times we may be guilty of being pirates. We take what does not belong to us. I was talking to a man earlier this week and he was telling me how he gets all the channels I do on my television and he doesn't pay for it. He has a gadget that brings in the signal without subscribing to the cable service. I asked him if the cable company allows that and he laughed and said he pays enough for the internet and they are rich, and they don't need his money.
When I went home I asked my wife if we receive anything that we should pay for and don't, she thought about it for a minute. Then she replied, "to the best of my knowledge we don't."
We wouldn't do business with a dishonest carpenter or car sales person. But would you do business with you? Are we honest and do we practice business with integrity? Are we legit when we enter a figure on our taxes, especially the charitable donations?
Psalm 101:3 I will conduct the affairs of my house with a blameless heart. I will not look for approval on anything that is vile.
Food for thought! We ask to be blessed while we cheat others.
Marty
