Good Morning,
The Door County Jamaican Blue Mountain Blend Coffee is brewing as I write and it has provided an aroma second to none in our home today.
My wife and I live a long distance from being able to dine on fresh seafood. At best, we might be able to eat some seafood caught a day ago. Even then it would be a luxury that isn't too likely. We do however have the likelihood to dine on fresh fish caught from the Great Lakes or other inland lakes. From the hook or net, to the pan and never frozen.
Where am I going with this? We all like things to be fresh. I was told that if you wash clothes and hang them outside to freeze you can capture the fresh air smell into the clothing. Bring the frozen clothing into the house and while it is thawing out and drying on a hanger the fresh air is available to sniff and the clothes smell great. Never have I tried this. I will leave it up to you.
I think it would also be nice to be able to wash out our brains and freeze good thoughts into our minds. We should try to start every day with a fresh perspective filled with honesty, integrity, hope, love, and kindness. We can cleanse our minds and hearts by spending some time each day in prayer and reading the Word of God. This freshens any day.
Psalm 119:11 I have hidden you word in my heart that I might not sin against You.
We can freeze the Word of God by memorizing a passage of Scripture to be used later and bring freshness to a stale heart and mind. What's hanging on your line?
Marty
