Good Morning,
The day has began with a hot cup of Door County Caramel Pecan Scones Coffee and some kind thoughts for friends of mine.
Psalm 65:2 You who answer prayer , to you all people will come.
I once was reading on the subject of prayer about 25 years ago and I found a definition of prayer that has stuck with me. "Prayer is a God given privilege to the believer to call Him on the scene for ourselves and for others. It is the believer's half of a conversation with God. "
One should never hesitate to pray when a need arises for us or someone else. One should never wait to go to the Lord in prayer to express our gratitude. Don't wait until you have all the answers before you pray. You don't have to understand plumbing to turn on a faucet. What a privilege to carry everything to God in prayer! We at times turn to every other source of help before we turn to God in prayer and ask for help or direction. When God becomes a choice or a number of options for us, He often becomes no option at all.
Exercise your privilege. A heavy price was paid that we might have our prayers be heard.
Have a great day!!!
Marty
