Candid Camera is a popular and long-running American hidden camera reality television series. Versions of the show appeared on television from 1948 until 2014. For many years I watched Candid Camera on television. While a practical joke was being played on a person, they were secretly filmed and very often the results were hilarious. However there were times when those being pranked did not see it that way and were a little annoyed at the fact that they were duped and then filmed. Mostly people learned to appreciate a good laugh at their own expense.
Many years ago my wife Rene and I learned to not take ourselves too seriously. And as awkward and clumsy as the two of us are, there have been millions of laughs just by our daily antics. We have learned to laugh with each other and at each other, We know that a laugh shared by two people is good for the soul.
All good things come from God and I will cherish the laughter we share. If we take ourselves too seriously we can fail to see the humor in the things that happen and are really funny. Some people are just looking for things to get ornery about, They rob those around them of the joy that some laughter can bring. Sometimes I do stupid things on purpose just to make my wife laugh. Her memory is better than mine and she will remark about something from the past that made us both crack up with laughter. We laugh about whatever it was again.
