Tuesday arrived right after Monday and I am looking forward to it sending me home to finish a couple small projects tonight. I just poured a cup of Door County Raspberry Almond Coffee for myself.

Today I want to talk about infidelity within a marriage. Unlike High fidelity sound equipment which reproduces sounds over and over and is always faithful to the original sound, infidelity is painful and just the word alone is dreaded. A person not faithful within marriage to their spouse is like a vinyl record with a bad scratch. It can still be played and used but it is never the same and the sound is irritating. Some records can be repaired and not every unfaithful marriage needs to end in divorce. But in many instances it is never the same when the bond of trust is replaced with betrayal.
We own a turntable and still play vinyl records. My wife handles the records with extreme care and does nothing to scratch them. They look like new and sound like new. Friends we should all treat our marriages that way. Treat them as fragile and precious, working hard to keep all harm from befalling us. We need to be Hi Fi people in a Lo Fi world.
