My mug was just filled with Door County Maple Coffee and it smells so good. I wonder if there is a maple aftershave?
Proverbs 22:6New King James Version (NKJV)
6 Train up a child in the way he should go,
And when he is old he will not depart from it.
And when he is old he will not depart from it.
Yesterday we had relatives over for a Thanksgiving dinner. The preparation was not too difficult at all. When we served the food it went flawless. The clean up and other chores went very well. Rene and I both remarked how nicely it went.
Here is what we noticed. Our grandson just started doing things to help. He did not have to ask or be told what needed to be done. He just did what needed to be done at the moment. At the end of dinner he thanked us for the dinner.
I guess all that good stuff has to be attributed to good training by his parents. Of course I am bragging on him a little. But what I did not mention is this. Rene's brother who is sixty years old did the same thing to help. It just shows good child rearing once again.
We need to teach our children good social responsibility skills. These two were a big help for sure. Shouldn't all kids, men, and women, be the same way?
Parents, sometimes the road to raising kids is a long one. But don't give up. It will pay off eventually.
God Bless,
Marty
