I am not at home this morning to make a pot of Door County Peanut Butter Crunch Coffee. Soon I will be at work and ready to face the day and put the weekend on my agenda.
There are a lot of superstitions regarding Friday the 13th. And that is exactly what they are, superstitious nonsense. God has made each day and for anyone to believe that He would make one just for bad luck is ridiculous.
When we even just joke around about the stigma of the famous day recognized by the foolish, we play into false beliefs about God's creation.
Psalm 118:24 This is the day that the Lord has made. I will rejoice and be glad in it.
God gave us this day as a gift. Let's do something good with it.
