Saving A Family 12/15/2015

Good Morning,

The weather today is still a little warmer than normal for this part of the world. But my cup of Door County Christmas Coffee still hits the spot.

“Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.” – Matthew 25:40, NIV

It's that time again and the Christmas cards are starting to arrive at our home on a regular basis now. We received one that especially tickled us. Last summer our church mission team partnered with a clinic that gives alternatives to abortions. The team did some repairs and minor construction at the clinic.
On the left side of the card were all the names of the babies born in 2015 who might have been aborted if it weren't for this Christian clinic. I will probably never meet any of those kids, but I wonder how their lives will have an impact on others for good? I read in the card how one couple left the clinic and decided to get married and raise their baby.

Now for me, this was the good news that Christmas needs to bring. For our small team who sacrificed time and money, their dream was to help. They will never know how many families they might have helped to save.

What are you doing next summer? Maybe there is a place like this near you that could use some volunteers? Do you have some baby clothes that someone could use that are just taking up space in your home?

Food for thought?

Marty
