Christmas Cookies And Dad 12/27/2015

Good Morning,

We traveled home today from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan today with our nephew Nick and his sweetie Mikaella. I was missing my Door County Candy Cane Coffee but just made a pot for tomorrow.

Most of the family made it to Michigan to celebrate with our Dad. There was a big supply of Christmas cookies baked for Dad. There were so many kinds to choose from. He has always loved cookies with a cup of coffee. The air was filled with sweetness.

There were three different families that worked from different homes to make Christmas nice for the guy who lives alone in the middle of no where, as we should. It went very well but I think we were the ones who came away blessed to have done it. That time and effort of love boomeranged and our Christmas was made so much better. We went to give and we received the gifts of smiles and laughter. It doesn't get much better than that.

God bless,

Marty
