My mug will be filled very soon with Door County Swedish Lingonberry Tart Coffee and a new work week will begin
This last few days Rene and I were able to get away with her mom for a long weekend up to Door County Wisconsin. It doesn't sound like much, but it was as a needed getaway and we thoroughly enjoyed it. In order for us to go away we always have to make arrangements for our English Springer Spaniel Gibbs to stay somewhere or stay at home with someone. We have two people we count on. One is the owner of a kennel where we purchased Gibbs. He and his family will board dogs and get them plenty of exercise. The other option, is our nephew Nick. In either case Gibbs is well taken care of, but Nick has a bond with Gibbs and gives him that extra attention that our furry buddy craves. In both instances our dog is safe, fed and taken care of.
Where is this going? Well you can tell a lot about a man in the way he cares for his family and his animals. Both of these guys work hard, hunt and fish when they can, but are gentle with kids, women and animals. Just from the way they react to kids and animals tells you that they can be trusted. They will watch out for those weaker than them.
So ladies, when looking for a good man, look for one, who loves Jesus, loves kids and takes care of his animals. They will also, love, cherish and take care of you.
Proverbs 12:10New King James Version (NKJV)
10 A righteous man regards the life of his animal,
But the tender mercies of the wicked are cruel.
But the tender mercies of the wicked are cruel.
Have a great day!
Marty
