Listening To The Wrong Radio Station 8/3/2018

Good Morning,

The old coffee cup is filled with Door County Death's Door Coffee today. Friday, let's have at it.

Have you ever listened to one of the all time favorite radio stations? WII-FM
It is on in every city. Reception is always good. Programs run 24/7. It broadcasts in all languages. It often causes huge discussions among listeners.
WII-FM The handle stands for "What"s In It For Me?" Not a good choice of attitudes. We need to turn the dial. I think if we are all honest we would admit to tuning into that one pretty often. We all have within us the potential to be selfish. We want it "our way". We tend to put ourselves first. But this is contrary to what God desires from us.

Philippians 2:1-4
If you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any fellowship with the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and purpose. Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves. Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others.

Next time it comes to a choice and others are involved, you be Burger King and say "Let's have it your way." You'll be doing the right thing and in some instances avoid an argument, frustration, or anger.

After all, Jesus put us all first when He stretched out His arms and paid the price for our sins on the cross. Let's imitate the one who knows best. He set the standard.

God bless,

Marty
