Dog Tired 3/21/2016

Good Morning,

Monday has arrived as planned and we have a busy week in front of us. My coffee flavor is Door County Cherry Crème. I was away this weekend and missed out on my Door County Treats.

In the picture below you see our Springer Spaniel Gibbs after a successful hunt at a game farm this weekend. He is really tired and you can see it in his eyes. He worked hard and then was cleaned up, fed and rested. He was ready to go before the next morning.

People use the expression "Dog Tired" when they explain how they feel. They are expressing that they need sleep and could sleep the day away like many dogs do until their owners come home.  Some people I interact with are "Dog Tired" each and every day. Some of these are noteworthy. They besides being tired, are usually a little crabby and can be very short with people. I wonder if being "Dog Tired" has anything to do with the fact that they have been growling all day long? It takes a lot of energy to be crabby and mean. If you are repeatedly "Dog Tired" it could be one of two things. You might be overworked and stressed. Or it could be that in addition to your daily routine you have elected yourself the "Junk Yard Dog" of your life and those around you. You spend your days working and growling at people. This would wear anyone out.

 Proverbs 16:24
Gracious words are like a honeycomb, sweetness to the soul and health to the body.

Slow down there Bark Meister and have a better day.

God bless,

Marty
