Using Our Gifts, Richard Rys Christmas Music on the Concertina. 12/23/13

Good Morning,

How did Monday get here so fast. I guess the count down to Christmas has begun. My day has started with a cup of Door County Candy Cane Coffee.

This weekend we had to deal with a blizzard and now some cold temperatures. God is so good. While shoveling yesterday not one mosquito bothered me.

Our church, Faith Bible Church Greenfield Wisconsin is blessed to have a lot of differently talented people attend and serve God together. Hidden away on Saturdays is a fella who attends with his wife. We were surprised to find out that he plays the concertina. Of course being the one sole member of the Faith Bible Church Look Who's Got Talent Committee the challenge was dropped to Rich Rys to play some Christian music for our Saturday Night service on his concertina. Rich was up to the challenge and arranged two Christian Christmas tunes for us and they can now be viewed on Youtube. http://youtu.be/XSlkG_Xc7zk  Just copy and paste this link. You will be blessed.

I found them just amazing. I am fond of the concertina and accordion. But what I admire most is that God has given us all talents and Rich uses his for God's glory. We should never squander our gifts. They are to be used as a blessing to others and to assist in building the Kingdom of God.

1 Peter 4:10-11
As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace: whoever speaks, as one who speaks oracles of God; whoever serves, as one who serves by the strength that God supplies—in order that in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ. To him belong glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.

God bless,
Marty
