Through The Eyes Of A Child 8/28/2019

Good Morning,

In a little while I will be pouring a very large cup of Door County Cherry Creme Coffee to help me wake up and smell the roses.

Ecclesiastes  3:1.
There is a time for every purpose under heaven.

Having a new puppy in the family is like having a new baby. They are cute, playful, and definitely  full  of energy. Our neighbor's little girl came over to meet our new furry addition. It was funny to watch the puppy and a little girl bond immediately. She stopped way down and mer the puppy at his level. He wasn't  afraid of her and she did not fear him. They both just wanted to meet each other.

Just before going outside with the puppy I had been listening to the local and national news on the radio. The stock market lost a ton of points. World leaders couldn't  agree on how to address fires in the rain forest  and countries were still aiming missiles at each other. It was to say the least "unhappy news". But in our garage the puppy and the child didn't  care about the dingy world we live in. They both saw an opportunity  to play and make a new friend. All the bad news is important  I guess. But every now and then we all need to look at life through  the eyes of a child and a puppy.

Have a great day.

Marty.
