Ocean Front Property In Arizona 1/14/2018

Good Morning,

May your day be peaceful and your troubles be few. I am waiting to pour a cup of Door County Gingerbread Spice Latte Coffee and head out on an adventure today.

John 8:44New International Version (NIV)
44 You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies.

My title today "Ocean Front Property In Arizona" comes from the lyrics of a Country Western Song I heard yesterday while driving. The tune was quite good but this section of the lyrics stuck in my brain and now I see the message.

There is no such thing  as ocean front property in Arizona. But I can see people being gullible enough to be sold a bill of goods like that. People are swindled all the time by professional thieves who sell things that will never work or the scare someone into thinking they need to give out personal information over the telephone. Once the information is obtained these thieves use the information to steal funds away from the unsuspecting victims.

I for one have purchased a couple of items after watching some pretty flashy advertising, just to find that my hard earned money bought some junk that will never work.

We all need to be careful with our purchases and who we trust. Satan uses these tools and our weakness to act on impulse. He convinces us that the purchase we are going to make is a good one and just right for us. Later we live to regret it. He especially likes to see us in debt over our heads so that the joy of life only seems to be to go to work with two jobs and pay for our mistakes. We must at all times avoid impulse purchases.

1. Ask yourself this question. Do I absolutely need this item?
2. Can it wait?
3. Or do I just want this item?
4. What good does the item really do for me?
5.Am I going to incur debt, how much and is that adding on to more mistakes?
6. Check out anyone asking for personal information. Ask them to call back after you check with authorities. They won't call back.
7. If you find that you must lie to cover your purchase and do anything illegal you too have fallen.

Run this decision through the prayer mill. Then bounce it off a friend who is a good enough friend to tell you what you don't want to hear.

Satan is the Father of all lies and deception. Buyer beware. There is no excuse for falling for lies. Protect the elderly from being scammed. Educate them as to staying safe with their finances. Teach your children to wait on spending their money. Teach them the pitfalls of debt and impulse buying.

Big job? Not really, just an easy way to avoid grief.

Marty
