We All Need A Friend 7/7/2025

 Good Morning,

I have a hot cup of Door County Peanut Butter Crunch Coffee waiting to be sampled and it is time to write.

In my 68  years on this planet I have come to the conclusion that everyone needs a friend or two. Some people have been blessed with many friends, many people married their best friend. Some have been blessed to be a friend to someone. 

My earthly friends mean a lot to me and they know it. But there is one friend who I cannot do without. And I never will have to bury. He is true to the end. 

John 15:15 ESV No longer  do I call you servants,  for the servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all that I have heard from my Father I have made known to you. 

Proverbs 18:24 ESV A man of many companions may come to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother. 

As close as I am with my friends, there is only One who has died for me. 

John 15:13 Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends. 

My best friend is Jesus Christ My Lord and Savior. And as long as He has that title I can be a better friends to others.
