Good Morning,
I have a hot cup of Door County Heroes Blend Coffee within reach and it is time to write.
Yesterday my wife Rene and I hosted a small gathering at our home to celebrate the Fourth Of July. It was a small group of friends and family. We haven't done that since Covid hit in 2019. We followed the rules of quarantine and just got out of the good habit of fellowshipping with others. Last night I mentioned to one of our friends how nice it was to use our yard, eat from some festive plates and enjoy time with each other. We both agreed that it had been too long. And to be honest there was no excuse after Covid calmed down except that of laziness and being too busy to gather.
The food turned out excellent and when the group does gather it is always a treat worthy of a king.
So to my point the day was fit for a king and having loved ones close and celebrating together was a blessing . We prayed before dinner and the day couldn't have been any better. I then remembered that our day was blessed from above and a King attended the celebration.
Matthew 18:20 For where to or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.
Don't forget to enjoy time with friends and family. Done right, Jesus always shows up. I believe He blesses good parties.
