When we desire to see God's power move within lives and the world, you might not see it around you. Look within . Some of God's greatest miracles are found in your own soul and the souls of others.
1 Corinthians 4:20 For the Kingdom of God is not a matter of talk but of power.
You take for instance the man who has been a drunkard for most of his life. Then he has an encounter with God, His word, and a movement within his heart, generated by the Holy Spirit which led him to Jesus. Now sober and clean, all the counseling and tough love sent his way in the past failed. But the power of an encounter with God through Jesus has sobered the man up and he is a new creation.
Many a man and woman has allowed themselves to become smaller than the booze bottle and weaker than the wine inside. Yet as with anything, an encounter with God with His power to restore lives and place music in a heart that has been silent, we see men and women restored to a fruitful life. Only God has the power to restore us to live a useful, and resurrected life.
God's greatest miracles are the ones that turn hearts of stone into a heart that beats with His and for others. His miracle of restoring souls not only is awesome, but it is everlasting.
