The day has begun with a very hot cup Of Door County Jingle Bell Java Coffee, prayer and some soft music on the radio. I chose not to listen to the news this morning , but instead I will enjoy a melody or two.
The winter weather has somehow hit each state with a little taste of what winter brings, except for Hawaii. Many parts of the world have experienced winter's embrace. People will wear hats, mittens, long underwear, scarves, boots and heavy coats to stay warm. I subscribe to that theory myself! Rene and I both own plenty of warm clothes.
But clothing does nothing to warm the heart. I have found however a way to warm the heart for days if not for months. Here's the secret to a warm heart. Make someone's day by passing them a kind word of encouragement, support, or love. The kind word will warm their hearts and as you pass it on you will experience the warming of your own heart.
Now if someone shares a kind word in your direction, cherish it by saying thank you. Think on it and enjoy it. It has a warming capability for your heart that can be fueled for months. Then pray for that person and thank God that He sent them your way.
