Differences Can Be Enjoyed 12/15/2016

Good Morning,

My cup was just filled with Door County Breakfast Blend Coffee. We are headed to the beach today. We spent yesterday by the pool and once again I ended up shooting baskets in the late afternoon.

So being here in Florida has been a treat for us. The contrast between Orlando and where we live in Wisconsin is about 70 degrees different right now. One is blanketed with snow and cold and the other is deep in sunshine and warm weather. We will be headed home this weekend and will have to wear a whole different kind of clothing. For the past couple of days we have lived in shorts and tee shirts. It will be back to sweaters and insulated pants for us, toot sweet. We have enjoyed ourselves immensely while here.

My point is this. We will also enjoy the cold weather when we get home. We try to make the best of things at all times. If the weather brings shorts and tee shirts or snow and cold, we adapt and enjoy the day God has given us. Every day is to be a blessing.

There is no use crabbing around when things are not to your liking. Be willing to compromise and enjoy seeing others happy. There is always something to do if you are willing to do it. It won't be long until Rene and I enjoy some snow activities. While drinking hot chocolate, our memories will go to swimming pools and palm trees. Contentment is the key to being happy in all circumstances. I hear plenty of our friends complaining about the snow. I just smile and can think of a few of my favorite duck marshes that need some water. The snow replenishes what was lost in a drought. We all need to rise and shine, smile and enjoy what God gave us.

Psalm 148:7-8King James Version (KJV)
Praise the Lord from the earth, ye dragons, and all deeps:
Fire, and hail; snow, and vapours; stormy wind fulfilling his word:

Have a great day!

Marty
