Time For A Few Days Off 12/14/2018

Good Morning Dear Friends,

No Door County Coffee for me this morning. But if I were having some It would be Jingle bell Java and it would be very hot.



I will be away from writing for a few days or more. The time has come for me to get two new knees and they are long overdue. I will try to journal this adventure and ask God to teach me a thing or two that I can share once I am up and writing. God willing, I pray it won't take too long to return to you all.

But as I rebuild, I will be reading my Bible and spending more time in prayer. You might just be the one God lays on my heart to pray for.

Pray for my caregivers. I am not a good patient and I like to push myself. If ten steps are good, I am a twenty will make me heal faster type of guy. I will be wearing my shirt that says "Suck it up Buttercup!

But as I head to this extended vacation of happy and healthy let me leave you with this thought.

Philippians 4:5-9 New International Version (NIV)
Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.
