If Someone Wants To Argue, Destroy The Argument 9/13/2018

Good Morning,

Let's get this day started and move closer to the weekend. I am for that idea 100%. I chose Door County Pumpkin Spice Coffee to fill my cup this fine September morning.

I want to lift up in prayer the East Coast of the United States as the fight off a severe hurricane. Our prayers are with you.

2 Corinthians 10:3-5 New International Version (NIV)
For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.

Christians have weapons that we can't see. When they enter into an argument with others and they follow the thoughts of Jesus many walls of anger are broken down. I recently had a friend tell me about a situation that he stumbled into where he ended up being between to warring neighbors. He spoke softly to them, quoted Scripture and hugged them both. The war stopped. He was amazed that the name of Jesus calmed the rocky storm that the other two were headed into. He showed them, patience and respect. This is something the world could use more of. We can call on prayer, guidance, the ability to forgive, love and possibly silence,  and then know we are headed in the correct direction,

God Bless

Marty
