God's View From Watersmeet 5/18/2018

Good Morning,

Friday at a last. No Door County Coffee for me today. Hotel coffee for me this morning.

My Dad used to live on a small Lake in Watersmeet Michigan. This is the view from his deck the last fall before he passed away. I remember that day very well. It was crisp and cool outside. We were heading out to do some partridge hunting. But look at that view. I was the only one on the deck with a cup of coffee of course, admiring God's creation. I remember thinking. After seeing this who could say "there is no God".  God painted quite a picture that day. But in order to see it, the picture had to be created. The trees had to be seeds, the seeds had to grow, the sun had to shine, the skies had to rain. The temperature had to change the color of the leaves. All that and more God put into the picture I saw. God is quite an artist.

John 1:3 All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made.

Psalm 19:1      To the choirmaster. A Psalm of David. The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims his handiwork.

Colossians 1:16-17          For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him. And he is before all things, and in him all things hold together.

What will God show you today in Nature? How about on the weekend?

God bless,
Marty
