Stop Drop and Roll 11/8/13

Friday once again and I hope yours is a great one. I started my day with a cup of Door County Caramel Apple Coffee. Ah the simple pleasures!

Stop, drop, and roll is the process one is to use if you catch on fire and your clothing is burning. This process extinguishes the flames. This process is taught in fire academies, the military, first aid and rescue classes. It is taught basically in a lot of places. But what they don't tell you is that there is a place where this won't work. That place is hell. There is a heaven and hell. You see, God loves us so much that he leaves no one homeless. He has a place for everyone and we get to choose which one we go to for eternity. The choice is heaven or hell. Let the Bible tell you a little bit about both.

HELL

Revelation 21:8

But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars--their place will be in the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death."

2 Thessalonians 1:9

They will be punished with everlasting destruction and shut out from the presence of the Lord and from the majesty of his power

HEAVEN

John 14:2

Revelation 21:4 

He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.”

 The way to hell and an everlasting fire and misery is easy to find. Just follow the world through life and not repent of your need of Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. The way to heaven is also easy to find. It is though faith and accepting the forgiveness of our sins through Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

Friends it is a choice. Choose today where you will go and who loves you more. Jesus or Satan. Some might say Satan loves me more. Really? He will lead you all the way into a life of hell fires. Sure he will stay there right with you. Wow what a buddy. Seems like misery loves company. But Jesus will lead you to heaven and God the Father. Now really who would die for you to be able to go there? Jesus. Now who loves you more?
