Once again after a senseless tragedy, and I do mean a tragic loss of young lives in Connecticut, the United States is calling for major gun controls. I have wept for these children and families and rightly so. But wake up America there are tragic losses each day that could be stopped without gun control and many do not care.
Deuteronomy 6:5-9
5 Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. 6 These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. 7 Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. 8 Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. 9 Write them on the door frames of your houses and on your gates.

Since 1973 over 50,000,000 abortions were committed in the United States. I regard life as sacred and so does God. Each night men and women are murdered on the streets. Babies murdered in clinics. We have lost the respect for life and it started a long time ago with Roe V Wade.
Deuteronomy 6:5-9 is the God version of a job description for parents. This all started with us losing God's vision for life and family many years ago. Let's put the emphasis on God, and family. Then people may have the respect for life and it's people that pull the trigger or not. God is the solution not gun control. God saves families. God teaches right and wrong. God loves us and sent His son Jesus Christ to die for our sins. It's time to get back to the One and Only who loves us.
