My wife and I are on the road this morning and my mug is filled with Door County Highlander Grog Coffee. I will enjoy this brew and make sure it lasts for a hundred miles or so.
I mentioned earlier this week that I will be attending a family reunion on my father's side of the family. The family is small in numbers and we only have a dozen with us for the festivity. Now if we were to have a reunion on my mother's side it would still be pretty large although many have passed on and left this world.
My point for the day is this. Our minds have the capacity to store a lot of memories. For the next few days I know for sure that I will open the vault of my mind and enjoy a trip through history. I also intend on storing up some new memories and work my way back home. Some new photos will be made into a Christmas ornament or two. This winter I will be sure to take a travel now and then with my new memories as I warm up in front of the fireplace.
Philippians 4:8 ESV Finally, Brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise,. think on these things.
God bless,

Godspeed on your trip, may God bless you, Rene, and your family and bring you back to us safely.
