Good Morning,
The coffee pot delivered one hot mug of Door County Peanut Butter Cup Coffee today and it is kicking me awake.
Yesterday I spent a little longer in prayer than what is normal for me. I don't really track the time spent in prayer. Some days are just in need of praying longer and now and then I am hurried for some reason or another.
For me, a day without prayer is worse than skipping breakfast. The day just seems to be out of balance and difficult without my prayer time. I don't want to be that guy who asks for blessings and help and then forgets to pray and listen for communication with God. Prayer is the most intimate form of communication with God, not just a list of needs, desires and wants.
As for me, a little longer spent in prayer will never hurt me and can only be good for me and those around me.
Jeremiah 29:12 NKJV Then you will call upon Me and go pray to Me, and i will listen to you.
Imagine that! An open invitation to communicate with God anytime, anywhere, and for as long as you desire.
