Good Morning,
I just sat down at the desk with a hot cup of Door County Raspberry Almond Coffee and it is time to write.
Matthew 18:20 KJV For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.
I am enjoying my cup of coffee as I usually do and later this morning I will visit with a friend and eat some breakfast with him.
My point for today is this, learn to keep things simple and not too loaded down with details which really aren't that important. A cup of coffee in the morning and visiting an old buddy is a pretty easy thing to do. My friend is 98 years old, a World War Two veteran and a member of our church.
We will have a good time without any added frills or complicating details. Just two old guys enjoying the blessing of being part of another day. We will give thanks for this day and chat about just anything. At the end of our excursion we will both go home satisfied with the meal, the chat, and our ability to enjoy our morning.
I look forward to these outings and I know that times like this morning are a blessing granted by God. And we should always remember to enjoy our friendships and remember that God is also going along with us. Even the most simple outing has God going along. I feel like asking for a table for three!
God bless,
Marty
