Good Morning,
I am going to be busy all day and have several appointments to keep. So my Door County Peanut Butter Cup Coffee will be on the move with me.
Psalm 118:24 This is the day the Lord has made; Let us rejoice and be glad in it.
Later today after the appointments are finished I will be going home and loading my truck for a trip to Tennessee. Our small family on my dad's side are meeting up for a reunion. We will be spending three days in Pigeon Forge together. I will assume that some banter on days past will occur and some new memories will be made. My prayer today is for all of us as we travel near and far for travel mercies.
I will do my best to remember those who could not be with us and those who are no longer alive. I could get caught up in missing those who are gone now and it is okay to pause and honor them, but I want to live for the moment, in the moment, with those who are alive. I want to celebrate them and their lives as much as possible.
Think about that for a minute. Today, are you celebrating those around you and making new memories? When you greet someone, is your smile contagious? Does your smile let them know that for the moment they are the most important person in your eyes? You can celebrate in a big way, with just a smile and by saying good morning with gusto.
Have a great day. Celebrate with the next person you greet and keep the party going!
Marty
