Good Morning,
The coffee is hot and the flavor is awesome. Door County Apple Cobbler Coffee is swirling in my mug.
One of the experiences of going out on short term mission trips is the return to normal at home. You have just spent 7-10 days 24 /7 serving God, giving it your all and now you are back home to NORMAL!!
I hear from many of my friends that it is depressing to be home. I challenge them to think about it this this way. The only way you know that you are low and depressed is that you have been on high! Cherish the high times and let it carry you in between ministry missions. This works for those in home ministries also. Each Sunday is different. Some are highs and some are lows.
So be patient and wait for the Lord's next assignment. Then smile and remember that you were there and the only way you can tell that you are low is because you spent 24/7 with the King.
Isaiah 40:31King James Version (KJV)
31 But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
God bless,
Marty
