Good morning,
I have another busy day ahead of me. The Door County Breakfast Blend Coffee I brewed this morning will be shared with the team who is residing our house. It's always nice to share a cup of coffee with some serious Java Joes.
Psalm 3:5 NKJV I lay down and slept. I awoke, for the Lord sustained me.
Last night I was extremely tired when I finally went to bed. It wasn't too long after putting my head on the pillow, I fell asleep for the whole night. I prayed before I laid down and my sleep was very restful. When I awoke this morning I was well rested and had a clear head, ready to face the day.
I felt the need to acknowledge God for giving me another day that He has fashioned for me. I am totally aware that each morning is a gift from God and it is best to be used with gusto and thankfulness. I could have lapsed into some type of coma in my sleep, never to be useful again. But God has given me another day to accomplish something and maybe I might be a blessing to others.
Don't take another day for granted. You can't store it up and use it some other time. A day has 24 hours to be used. You never get that day back, so look at your day as a gift to be used! And use it for good!
