Good Morning,
I am enjoying a hot cup of Door County Chocolate Cherry Coffee and it is time to write.
I am writing a brief blog on keeping your mind from becoming a prison. We need to be careful to protect our thoughts that can be collected and stored in our mind. Like mold, a mind that get's cluttered with hatred and other garbage is like a prison. A prison cell can only hold so many people. Our minds become like a prison when we don't clean them out now and then. Hate that stockpiles in our minds leaves no room for decent thoughts, peace, harmony, and the recipe for love for God, family or self.
Once the vault of our minds fills with the garbage of this world only hate, disdain and vulgarity seem to occupy it. What then occupies the mind tends to spill out and we hear nothing good coming out of our mouths. What occupies the mind will spill out into our lives and speech.
Romans 12:2 NKJV And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
Isaiah 26:3 NKJV You will keep him in perfect peace, Who's mind is stayed on You, Because he trusts in You.
Psalm 141;3 NKJV Set a guard , O Lord, over my mouth. Keep watch over the door of my lips.
Colossians 3:1-2 NKJV If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. 2. Set your minds on things above , not things on the earth.
Don't let your thoughts become a life sentence. Clear your minds with good thoughts. It's a road that is best chosen.
Marty
