I have a full day ahead of me and it will run into the evening. So I have packed a lunch and a hot Thermos of Door County Heroes Blend Coffee.
1 Peter 4:10 As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace.
Some people look at my wife Rene and I and shake their heads. For instance yesterday, we tackled some yard work together and Rene was riding the tractor, mowing the lawn and I was doing some trimming, thinking about what I would cook for dinner. I do 99% of all that gets cooked in our home. People find the fat that I cook for us as somewhat odd. It might be a little odd, but it works for us and Rene does most of the grass cutting, and other chores.
For us, this arrangement works, so we don't mess with it. What this tells me is that if it isn't born in sin, and it causes no harm, if the way you function isn't broke, don't fix it. Use each person's talents to the betterment of the family. Short message today, but full of meaning.
