Being Fussy Has Limits 5/9/2025

 Good Morning,

A hot cup of Door County Vanilla Almond Kringle Coffee was needed to take the chill out of me this morning.

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 Rejoice always, 17. Pray continually, 18. Give thanks in all circumstances , for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.

I brew fresh coffee every morning. I use a coffee maker which needs ground coffee, water and a little electricity. I also have a coffee pot that can brew coffee with an open flame, indoors or outdoors. That's what I prefer. I have however at times been served coffee in a restaurant, hotel or while visiting others in their home. They serve coffee in a variety of ways, and brew it differently. Some folks have the single cup style that is brewed with a machine and uses a small cup of syrup that mixes with a cup of water. There are many ways to make and serve a cup of coffee.

My quick point for a Friday is this. In your home make and serve the coffee the way you like it. When traveling you might just have to drink something different from the brand or flavor you are used to. With all things don't be fussy when someone offers you something to eat or drink. Be grateful for what they serve you.  Drink what is in your cup, or eat what is on the plate. Don't offend a cheerful giver.

It is ok to decline politely, but if it lands in your cup, or is served on your plate, do your best to eat and drink without offending and being too fussy.

Simple message for a simple day. One to teach the children or grandchildren.

Marty
