Good Morning,
I am writing very early today as I need to be somewhere also very early. I will drink my hot cup of Door County White Christmas Coffee when I return home later.
Philippians 1:3 NKJV I thank my God upon every remembrance of you.
Yesterday I generated a report for my doctor as we track how a medication is working. It has been a couple years now since I have had to report or track anything. So I jumped in with both feet and after a few struggles I had a spread sheet that would have made anyone proud.
For the longest time I avoided Excel sheets with it's many formulas. I was blessed to have excellent administrative assistants who could whip those things out in no time flat. But the last one I worked with insisted that I learn how to build them and fill them. Her reasoning was that when I retired I would probably go back to work once I was bored with retirement. She was correct and everything either ran through Excel or Google Sheets. I was so grateful that she took the time to teach me how to use them and produce them. Yesterday my thoughts turned to my friend Azeb. She herself was one of the hardest workers I ever worked with. Once again I found myself being thankful for God placing her in my path.
My point for today is this. Professionally we work with many people during the life of a career. Some of them will make an impact for good and some will be those you want to forget. Maybe a good idea would be to tell them how much they are appreciated before life sends you in different directions. After all, they are blessings sent from God.
Food for thought.
Marty
